TIPS ON GETTING A SEAT AT A UAAP GAME

The University Athletic Association of the Philippines Season is the most awaited event for each student of the eight participating universities in the country. Composed of 15 sports, teams from each university are required to play and compete with the others in order to win the crown and become the UAAP Season’s champions.
The De La Salle University is the last season’s, UAAP Season 76, overall champion making Lasallians eager to watch at least one game, including me, for the UAAP Season 77 which has just recently opened, and in every La Salle game, the hunger games feels is known to everyone in winning at least a ticket to be able to watch a game live especially if it is a game of basketball or volleyball versus the Blue (Ateneo) School.

P.S. Take some seriously and others not a bit but bitsy bitsy bit.
TIP # 1: MAKE FRIENDS WITH A SCALPER
Scalpers are the guys (or gals) who hold half of the tickets that were supposed to be sold in school or in the arena itself. They hold either the tickets from the best view areas of the lower box and the patron and unfortunately, they sell these tickets 4x or sometimes even 5x the original price. So, if you make friends with them you might get them for a lower amount or even for free, who knows? But if this does not work, try Tip # 2.
TIP # 2: BE THE SCALPER
Yes, you read it right, “be the scalper”. How do they get the tickets? I have no idea, that’s why I told you to do Tip # 1 first to know how. With this tip not only you will get a bunch of tickets for you and your friends but also earn a lot of moolah.
TIP # 3: TAKE TIP # 2 SERIOUSLY
TRUST ME, take it seriously. Bought a ticket from a scalper once 3x its original price and definitely regretted it because that game was not ours to celebrate for.
TIP # 4: START A RELATIONSHIP WITH A PLAYER
This tip is definitely beneficial for you because not only you will get free tickets but also, be in a relationship with an athlete (if only possible). It is like hitting two birds with one stone. Every participating athlete for each game is given a certain amount of tickets (mostly patron but sometimes even VIP) and if you are that player’s girlfriend or boyfriend, one is definitely already reserved for you.
TIP # 5: HOW TO DO TIP # 4
Happy Thursdays’ are surely there to help. Just stay a bit late in The Barn, Beach, Sherwood Place, or Timeout in order to catch up with them.
TIP # 6: JOIN THE TEAM
This is the easiest and sure way for you grabbing a seat, not only a seat, but even get the chance to be watched and cheered by thousands of fans in an actual UAAP game. BUT of course you could only do this if you have the skills and expertise in a certain sport especially with basketball and volleyball, the most viewed and focused games of the season and the patience with the balancing of the non-stop trainings and academics of the athletes.
TIP # 7: ASK FOR TICKS FROM COACH JUNO OR COACH RAMIL
